Engage freely in promiscuous sex, often with the husband or wife of one’s friends. Alas swinging or swapping wife/partner, standing for couples or partnerships which thrived on unusual antics.

Not so long ago, its followers got into making their taste known, and started yelling out for new adepts to join up. Soon after that, special editions on the subject commence to spread out. Those interested in uncompromised social venues would come forward through its ads. In advertising there’d be no financial transitions involved but companionship for sexual activities if anything.

Couple sought for fun biased, mind soothing boat trip, relax atmosphere. Send picture and contact info, total discretion. Your reply will get ours. It’s a typical partner swap and timesharing ad in a classified directory of its genre. Certain publications split their ads in categories, displaying them around a single centerfold picture that works out as a beacon.

A nude model handling a whip and slings would display the category, which the sadist and masochist would thrive on.

Yet pictures with nude groups are sought by those into group sex. Of which their preferable ads would abound.

There could be one that says for example “accompanied or singles”. Collective party, next Sunday, by the wharf, refer to Bob. There’d be a picture with four men and five women depicted, on the altogether, in a half full swimming pool, engaged in sexual congress. Swingers can be found in most nations, even if in smaller numbers. These by default won’t rely on ads, keeping it down to discreet newspaper index. There’d be cases in which the swinger is married and thriving on a sort of open relationship.

Some experts advocate on upholding marriage, but under a new scope though. In their understanding, stripping the old-fashioned framework off marriage and bringing it up to speed, is of the essence. Hence, there’d be alternatives within marriage, as in cohabiting with no legal bonds, yet group marriage and open relationships.

It comes to show that the major pitfall within the modern marriage framework lies in rapport. Very little is offered by modern day society in terms of alternatives to its dwellers.

Nonetheless, traditional marriage stands against this new model army, due to its monogenic stance. And then, people would ask themselves if keeping a single relationship would be worthy instead of many on the go. Both traditionalist and modern schools of thought have clashed lately. On average people get married (or date, or live together, etc) in accordance with social dogmas that thrive on such notion in which someone married might worth more than a single one. Plus, some times to be single would mean getting left behind, being all alone and a loser.

However, the pattern within marriage goes against most values currently supported, youth, boldness, and venture. What else could happen then?

Most couples would go their separated ways, while a handful of them might give partner swapping; get together parties and open marriage a try.
